Since I've use Filebot to get my subtitles, the English ones are ENG, but the Portuguese are just PB, It would be nice if MCM could rename to POR I like to point that Plex does not like the language code using two digits, like EN or PB I do not know if this has connections to anything, I just find odd.
#Add subtitles to plex movie#
I've refreshed the movie in the MCM and I cannot get this key to change. I believe that when MCM indexed the movie, it did not have subtitles. Happy to say that this worked like a charm !ĭuring the struggle, I've noticed that the movie.xml file has a tag To speed things, I've removed the movies and TV from Plex and added again.

So I've moved to first ( as its also needed ) in the list, for movies and TV That under the MCM agent there is the option to use the "Local Media Assets"

On the same time I've found a few threats on the internet about NFO importer from XBMC, and in one of those I've learned that there is a option to add to the agent to use the "Local Media Assets" so you can have the cake an eat tooĪppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-ins\MediaCenterMaster.bundle\Contents\CodeĪccepts_from = Īfter I've restarted the Plex Media Server, on the agent settings I've find the change On the MCM there is no "Local Media Assets" to use with the MCM agent. From the Plex side, Plex states that to use local subtitles they have to be on the same folder as the movie, follow the naming rules and the "Local Media Assets" has to be first in the list of the scanner that you use. I've struggled allot with subtitles using MCM and Plex, and I did find some useful information.
